Does the pet food recall now include Dry foods?

I am very worried about this as the food we use is on the list. At first it was just the can and pouch food. I was told that it may be anything that contains wheat gluten.

This has me very worried as we care for alot of stray and abandon animals. Several years ago we were using a very expensive food that didn't contain gluten or corn. We switched within the past 6 months.

Does anyone know if the recall also includes dry foods?

KMommy,
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17890924/ - latest recall'

Veterinarians recommend you read the pet food labels. If it contains "wheat gluten", for now, don't use it.

bcddjjsc690,

Thank you so much for the link. We were previously using food from this company http://www.naturapet.com/

Which produces some of the best quality food I've ever located for pets. They have some that do not contain any grains at all and even some organic pet foods. The problem was that it became so expensive we just couldn't afford it. It's very difficult to find food that doesn't contain so many fillers and the Wheat Gluten. It doesn't look like quality control testing for contaminants was being done. Makes me wonder if this is also going to effect foods for humans?
