If Mormons realized that excluding such ideals also consisted of the republican party, I guarantee you'd see two states change colors (Utah and Idaho) in a heart-beat.

I better say this now: I'm sorry that I keep bringing up my faith on this site. I can only imagine how annoyed Trudy is by people like myself in this state, constantly telling her she's a servant imp of the devil. I think things like my political beliefs and my religious beliefs both mean a lot to me.

I love this site. Richard Pryor transcends comedy into the realm of sociology. His contribution to easing racial tensions is invaluable, and certainly a beautiful thing. That probably also explains why a lot of Mormons are racist (they stay away from the R-rated stuff). (This is of course aside from previous racist comments, etc. made from early church leaders. If you'd like to give me a verbal black eye over that, I'd be happy to receive a PM from you. Really, I'm cool about it.)

I'll continue to stand up against the "redneck agenda" as well as I can. God be with you, Murphdogg.

GravyBoat, damn near every christian faith stood on the wrong side of racism (with the exception of Quakers and a few others)...I have no problem with people of faith..but Faith without thought and being manipulated by their leaders to vote against their own best intrest I have a problem with. My son was a beautiful soul..he was 7 years old when I lost him last december. I'm pretty crazy over the whole damn thing and from time to time do inrational things over it (like post about it) He was the funniest lil guy I've ever known and joked and laughed intill the end..

That was my impression once I came back and read your posts cause like I said alot of people came back and did that kind of ribbing to me at work,I was kind of pissed when I first saw it yesterday but after I realized what you were really doing I got a laugh out of it,but I still got a little worked up over it so mission accomplished on your part!!And actually we would have been better off switching states b/c Tennessee was in the Red!!!:(

My sincere apologies. I guess there's still a lot that I need to learn about the people around me. Apparently my gullibility was showing.

I'm still very new to this side of the political spectrum, and I'm certainly new to understanding people's situations outside of a tight-knit subculture.

We're all rattled over the blow. No reason to give up now, eh? Hillary Clinton, while not exactly perfect, could overwhelm America with the woman vote. That's one point. I'll write more next week. The computer lab's closing.

Jennifer, thank you, and I feel the same about you being there for Mr P..The sad thing about this world is some people even family will shy away from you when you fight a illness or disease, and you find out the hard way who is really there for you, I'm glad your there to fight for Mr P and stand by him.
