bcddjjsc690,

You know what I like about Nugent? He is honest. He hunts animals with a bow and saves the heavy artillery for killing people.

One thing that I love about this nation is our obsession with disarming the entire world while arming every right-wing, backwoods bastard with as many automatic weapons as possible. Me? I want to own a thermonuclear nuclear missle. It is my God-given 2nd ammendment right! Shit, if Jesus Goddamn Christ had an AK-47 those money changers would have been cleared out that goddamn temple!

JTF,
A buddy of mine just got his full carry permit in CT.
On the test they ask the question" Why do want a license to own a gun?..His answer.. "Because the 2nd amendment says I can , and I wish to excercise my constitutional right."

The officer grading the test told Him ...."Good Answer."

astonamous,The truth is ....
One of the requirements in purchasing a firearm is that you are licensed to do so .Upon completing the licensing and required tests by local law enforcement, He quailified for a full carry permit.
A gun is not something that can quell any persons' fears ...
nor is it the manner of which to settle arguements and disputes .It is a serious responcibilty on all levels ,much like driving a car on the highway....and using your logic ..people drive because they are LAZY...

If you need a gun to feel secure, you're in a bad shape. No evil formed against me shall prosper!

astonamous, the last gun I owned was a crossman 360 pump action BB gun, the informaiton I posted above was given to me by good friend ,who felt like buying a handgun. And sucessfully met all the necessary waiting periods,Background checks and local law enforcement tests and licensing.
But reading the census numbers , violent crimes committed with a firearm ,have plummeted in the last 12 years {1993}.
Motor vehicles however can not say the same.
Although I've never had a loaded gun pointed at me for any reason, Everyday I drive on the same roads with teenagers, talking on cell phones or bopping to blasting music ,elderly drivers whose reflexes may have slowed over the decades, and other reckless people who feel a license to drive is a permit to put my live at risk. Owning a gun is a contituitional right , driving a car is state by state mandated privilege. Right now ,in my life , the cars are much more dangerous..
