I thought the TV movie of Gilda , (played by Jamie Gertz)was pretty well done ,And went over all of her demons , from her insecurity, to her bulimia,for Wilder to comment on her in a negative way just shows he is a classless,bitter , dried up ,old, has been . He never had any of my respect to lose.

And the real sad thing is from watching the flicks wilder is somebody [/i]you want [/i] to like but how can you with all this bullshit he continues to put out there? He is basically the destroying the relationships that in our eyes made him the person he was....

Yeah , you would think someone would give him a walk on part on one of the regular sit -coms , like other [/i]STARS [/i]
do. But the way he is burning his bridges , who would want to have him around ? Unless he thinks he's too good to do a spot role , He certainly isn't getting any screen time from anybody in Hollywood.I'd cast him as Jack's father on Will & Grace, that would explain how Jack became so fucking queer, ,not that there's anything wrong with that..

Phil Spector, but I thought there was a resemblance between him and Wilder too. Apparently, like minded people... have the same hair stylist!!

well to each his own....I have never really liked Wilder....altho I like Young Frankenstein.....an Willy Wonka isn't bad....other than that Gene was never funny to me....he was ok....he was an ok actor but next to Pryor who was funny .....Gene never was..I like Stir Crazy the best....an that's the difference you could have put anyone in Wilder's place an the movie would have been great....but you can't replace Pryor in that movie.... just my own opinion.....
