Mama, you have GOT to be kiddin'!
He pulled the ol Hollywood shit on you? That's why all his films have been going belly up over the last ten years. Anyone remember "Rosewood"? I didn't think so. Believing too much of his own hype and talking to Spike's little ass too much. Both of em have me so frustrated because they held so much potential and didn't really deliver on it.
Both burnouts before the age of 40...

Sorry to interrupt again, but the more I thought about a Mudbone Doc, the funnier it got to me. You could take various pics of Richard throughout his life and digitally doctor them to reflect different moments in Mudbone's life. Ken burns style (which somehow makes it extra-special funny to me)...or The Kid Stays in the Picture style. Morgan Freeman should be the narrator. You could use Richard's Mudbone stand-up segments and say it was a brief chapter in Mudbone's life when he performed spoken word--speaking the wisdom of Mudbone to the people--then, of course, returned to relative obscurity.
Sorry...it makes me chuckle. And just to pretend I'm a little bit on topic...I'm very much looking forward to reading Pryor Convictions.
