tamra,

You got a good heart woman..Sounds like a plan. reading everything brought back memories of my homelessness.I lived 2 and a half months in the sheltor. I spent my 20th Bday in the sheltor and also got my ged in the same week..To be followed the next week by ultrasound results that said that I had a twin pregnancy and one of the babies died. All while trying to reassure my 2 and a half year old child that everything was going to be ok. But luckily for me. I had a good therapist that saw me for free..Never missed a day of work the whole time. Never wanted to lose my job due to my problems..Never told anyone. And I had thick skin. Thats the only thing I had to be thankful for from my
family.. One day I'm gonna write a book...Waiting for all that James frey shit to cool off though.

Prayin for ya sweetie...

Momof5,

well I ended up calling CPS. she is leaving the child alone and for hours at a time. who knows the child may be gone by the time she gets back. what if she goes into labor while running around w/an infant home alone?

so many people who want to adopt babies, this ain't right. unfortunately the child goes to foster care first. :(

tamra,

Awe hunny....You did the right thing. At least in foster care the little one will get three hots and a cot..And baths too...I hate to see the little ones suffer. Hopefully she will get a good kick in the ass and some help too.

Ya did good..(((hugs)))

Momof5,

yeah but why do I feel like shit? :(

but she was actually muffling out the sounds from the child by leaving TV on loudly and putting the child in a confined area. she was working an 8+ hour shift, I admire her for that, but shocked about other stuff

tamra,

You feel like shit because its you starting a chain reaction..But you have to believe that its not you starting it at all.. You are mearly saving the life of a child. So many things could happen while the mothers away. Fire, the kid could choke, drowned. Any number of things. It can't be could for the child's soul to be left lonely and starving. No body else was doing anything... You could always sign up the be the temporary foster parent. They need as many as they can get.. The will help you financially... I'm not saying you have to in anyway though.. What you have done is a good start. If anything they will help her get the support she needs...Take a breath...The mom is out of control and that child needs someone who is...They only take the child away as a last resort. Usually its temporary.

Don't feel like shit...Start prayin....
I'm with ya....

deepseas,

well, trying not to think about it, esp. on today. she seems like a very intelligent young lady. she speaks so proper and eloquent, and was always smiling like everything's ok. so WTF? I'm just more worried because she has the baby on the way and now more problems to think about, including an eviction.

but as they say, God works in mysterious ways and I'm hoping it all works out for the best. every now and then I think I hear a baby crying, but the baby ain't there no more, and hard to sleep last night.

tamra,

Where would you get an idea like calling CPS? @.@

You did the right thing. The kid is fed and being taken care of. Hopefully they might take the one that's about to pop out and give it to the father, Murphdogg!

Momof5,

yep I'm getting a server login as well. I figured it would go away since they're still working on things. but maybe person doesn't know? it's weird it doesn't happen when you come to site, just when you're clicking forum topics or posting.
