the late night laffs about this kept coming. Leno, Letterman and Conan all had hilarious jokes. I liked Leno's "she could be in Mars by now" regarding flight risk.

but she was obviously out of it. drove over 900 miles to act like a bumbling idiot w/a cartoonish plan.

she'll be fine, she has enough people coming to her defense and character, and has enough money to deal w/her issues.

a poor person w/a clean criminal record like her doing same thing wouldn't get such notoriety or sympathy. and their bail would have been higher.

Adam Carolla, the guy who took over for Howard, who I really like had this take on it. Something like..."You know this gal is accomplished on so many levels. your right because she did show intent and it was a planned event, not well thought out but planned regardless...you would think with all that training she could come up with something much better than using a diaper in her plan, it's obvious she never watched Bugs Bunny.

yep, if a person that worked at a convenience store tried that they'd lock them up and throw away the key, this lady will probably get a nice movie deal out of this...but I'm glad everybodys alright, this stuff usually ends up as murder/suicide.

i understand the connotations of the guy on the radio show sayin that....but still i think thats its the type of person there that cant control her feelings not that she is lumped in the group of jealousness.....jealousness helped but it was not the only factor....i think stupid is the word i was looking for....just shows you how hard it is to be an astronaut but not smart enough to find someone to love you or that loves you or both.....
