smjmcomic,
No, I've worked hard for this ego. I brought it up from nothing. I'll deflate it a bit around here...
I didn't say I was a funny or good stand up...we'll see about that.

NickFlanagan,
Shawn Jordan only notices how Nick Flanagan notices that MR.Shawn Jordan is the shit and how in fact that everbody notices how Shawn Jodan does what he has to do to be the best Shawn Jordan he can be.
God I hope you guys are seeing the humor in this ;p

garfy1974,
I am motivated to do comedy because 5 years ago my husband bought me Judy Carter's first book and I started it then lost all my nerve and put it back on the shelf. Then from there my husband and I got into Amway (that is scary in itself) and then once I completly lost all my sense of humor because I was so stressed about succeeding in Amway we stopped and I took a break from everyone and everything to find my laugh again. Then one day I was watching a comedy special on tv in Sydney, Australia and the woman who was hosting it was being billed as the queen of Australian humour and SHE SUCKED!!!!!!!!! I turned to my husband and said, "I could do better than that" I went up to my bedroom and got the book off the shelf and started reading it again. Wrote my first 5 minutes and went to my first open mike the next week, then competed in a comedy competition and got as far as the State Finals, from there on the rest is as they say history and now I run two room and having a great time. I love comedy and everything it stands for. That is why I love Richard Pryor so much because he is the embodiment of true comedy. Mixing pain and pleasure of life in just a way that makes you laugh and think. That is what I am striving for and at this time no where near but if I can just keep getting on stage one day I will be
xoxo
