I think I know what you're trying to say. But I think Chris Tucker in the Rush Hour movies would be a better example..and even that's a bad one. Pryor was an original and this is his site. That's like going to the Vatican and saying Robert Tilton reminds you of Pope John Paul...

Oh yeah and don't forget....we tease a lot here so dont' take it personal.

I didn't take it personally at all. I run into this kind of shit all the time. I also never meant to say that Lawrence is better or can come close to holding a candle to Richard's talent or ability. My intention was to objectively and intelligently state that Lawrence is actually funnier than most of the black comedians that are on the big screen right now. Much like Richard was during his time on screen. I won't get into what I think th e problem is with black comedians on screen now is. (whole different story) I still stand by my statement. And I'll give you that one Chris Tucker. I guess I didn't mention him since he's off the radar now. I guess since Dave Chappelle has all this time on his hands now it's time for him to step in.
