I went to a comedy club in Ct. a few years back . Kirk Douglass' son Eric was on the bill , I went with some friends who were co-workers of one of the opening comics ,Basically we went to make Her feel comfortable, lend support. Eric went on second to last ,his act wasn't bad , everyone was aware of his prior bouts with the law, He made a few jabs at his own problems with the law and having a famous father. "You don't know what it's like to ,as a kid , sit down at breakfast with your family and have your Dad yell out " I'm Sparticus !! "..... ....Every morning !

After the show when we left , He Happened to have been leaving at the same time , we gave Him some kudos on his performance, and he stopped to shake hands and thank us for coming .He seemed like a nice guy ,but every one has their own demons to battle , He lost his battle in 2004 .

Everyone was rather well behaved , at the show I mentioned. But one person did get the headliners attention ,He got up and left for the restroom during his act , So He roasted him ,the man had on a shirt with verticle dark stripes.
He got up more than once, and every time the HL would stop whatever he was into ,and point him out " Look ,there he goes again, !" Finally ending , with a few good referee
comparison/putdowns .
The Headliner was a tall guy with dark curly hair, He did an act with a guitar , He used pieces of black electrical tape as props to mimic several famous singers. Elvis , Zappa , Leon Redbone, He killed , He was really good , .When He came on and the audience was still clapping for Eric Douglass,and He shouted out " If you clapped that hard for Him , you better give me a fucking Standing Ovation !! 'That was his opening ! I don't remember the guys name ..anybody ...

hey thats a good one....i still laugh at the one the unknown comic said......about the first guy that landed on the sun...its an old joke but he does it funny.......an Murphdog you get funnier an funnier.....

Appaloosa, I had a weird experience with a heckler on Monday..usually I shut them up, this guy tried to overtalk me, so I just overtalked him clowning him pretty hard..and I noticed myself starting to feel violent..I had to get off stage and go smoke a ciggerette to calm down..I'm not sure what that was about because I had handled him..But I was going to stage dive and whip his zima drinking ass if I didn't introduce the first comic and go outside

it was probably frustration because deep down you knew the cocksucker was too ignorant to understand he had just been handled.

an then again you might have just had enough of hecklers at that moment in time also too you were in charge of putting people onstage because a heckler is a block an if you want things to go smoothly you have to take care of him....also for the others .....more or less to soften him up so he isnt so harsh for ones onstage to handle.....but then again i am no psychiatrist....or Dr. ...Phil....
