The key is find someone you want and work to make it work..Don't pretend to be something you are not in the beginning..Its twice as hard to play the "this is the real me" card..take it or leave it, if you pretend..
People get too eager to give up..Even if you marry them you still have to date and romace them.. If ya don't then either you or the other person might end up "dating" someone else to fill in the hole of sameness and emotional neglect..Having too many expectations can kill it too..No one is like you and no one will love like you love and care like you, But it doesn't mean they don't. everything takes years of learning, years of being with the same person that is..Of course there are the rare occasions when people have been together for years to find out that the other is gay or something..but that goes along with the pretending to be something your not part... I'm sure hundreds of years from now the gov't will implant a chip to make us all "perfect people"

You also have very good comments in this post. Even a GOLD DIGGA such as myself is willing to reform.
