That really made me smile, man. Thank you for the post.
The fact that I can present something on Mr. P and bring some much needed joy(however small)into this crazy ass world really and truly moves me.
That tape sat in a closet for over 12 years and the fact that I'm sharing it over the internet for anyone in the WORLD to see truly humbles me. I just watched it again yesterday and as many times as I have seen it, it still moves the shit out of me because of what you said, his frankness and honesty. And he is so kind to Jane and she to him and it displays for a magical moment how human beings SHOULD act towards each other and this, my friend, is the everlasting legacy of Richard Pryor.
Thank you, Mr. P for making our world a little more HUMAN.
