David Cross-It's not Funny

Hey guys...just got the new David Cross album to review and I quite like it. I wrote a review for the weekly newspaper I write for here in T.O, but it has yet to be printed, so I thought I'd put it up for you guys to check out. Has anybody else heard the record? I find it more concise than the previous. He says some pretty hilarious/true stuff about post Y2K America and how dumb he finds it is getting.
Here's the review I wrote:
David Cross-It’s Not Funny(Sub Pop)
This follow-up to Shut Up You Fucking Baby is half its size, and covers a lot of the same thematic ground as ts predecessor, but it’s more focused on jokes and less rambling, and it’s also totally hilarious, with so many quick quips stuffed into its 72 minutes that repeat listens will only reveal more laffs. People have said that Cross is funniest if you agree with his politics, but I’d say that he’s funniest if you accept his onstage persona, which requires an appreciation of sincere, well-thought out and hilarious sarcasm. Anybody who would rather listen to the death rattle of their only son than Staind is OK by me.
Thoughts or complaints?
