GET IT!!

Feelin' Kinda Patton is fantastic!
I laughed until I cried, then took
a shower since my face & eyes hurt; I
put it on AGAIN and blacked-out.

Smokey H,

Its a cool cd. But the best stuff is at the end -- his childhood memories of Virginia. Particularly, the Tom Carvell ice cream stores and painter Bob Ross bits. I won't spoil it for you.

amp-d,
I mentioned it in another thread, but this record is realllllly funny, and yes--it does pick up the most towards the end. He gets into a zone of hilarity that rules once he starts getting to his childhood TV memories. I really want to see him perform live, but living in Canada, who can say when I will? Feelin' Kinda Patton is long and dense enough to stand up to repeat listens. Checka checka check it out yall?

on a related note, I saw patton's friend david cross tonight and he was absolutely brilliant. 90 minutes of hilarity pouring from his mouth. I have to go back to my "top ten comedians today" chart and shift some people around.

bingolong,

so maybe he can tell me which cross album is better, its not funny, or stop crying you fucking baby.
I'll end up buying both, but I want to start with the funnier of the two.

deathblowthemovie,

Oh, Bingolong and his web-savvy ways. I would say the Cross album to start with is his newest. It's Not Funny is really concise and non-stop. The first one is great but longer and ramblier, so maybe it would be better to check out after the second. I think they're both great, but I I prefer the newest.

Smokey H,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Oswalt have a special coming on soon? If so, I hope he does the Tom Carvel, PAAS and Bob Ross painter bits. HILARIOUS!
