Franklyn Ajaye

Whatever happened to Franklyn Ajaye? Is he still around? And if so, is he doing stand up or full-time acting now? I haven't heard anything about this guy in ages. I did notice he wrote a book on comedy. But that's it. Any word?

He was just on BET a few months ago. He did an hours special on BET he is still sharp as ever. He was pretty huge in the 80's. I liked his comedy, very well written, not a wasted word. He has been living in Australia for a while now.

Thanks. I'm glad to hear it. Ajaye is a great comic. The man exuded intelligence onstage. Laidback delivery. I miss seeing him. Hope he decides to keep a higher profile in the future. Australia????

Last *I* heard, he was splitting time between
the US & Australia...he's also been giggin' in jazz with
his brother.
His book on Stand Up is pretty good; check
it out on Amazon.

Yeah I was the one in Stir Crazy in the hospital in STIR CRAZY!!!
As a matter of fact I must have been stir crazy when I typed "I" instead of "He".I fixed it though.........

Franklyn Ajaye was in Car Wash... You have to watch carefully, as he had a very insignificant part.
