Good movie, people and an even better career move for the stars. Tom Cruise and Jamie Fox both play against type and do an admirable job. This is Cruise's Training Day. He plays the villain and Jamie Fox is continuing to progress on film. First, Willie Beaman in On Any Given Sunday, then Bundini Brown in Ali and soon, Ray Charles. The guy is moving. If you've seen the trailer, you already know the plot. So you'll know what to expect. Oh yeah and Jada looks fine....

Definitely a good movie, I wouldn't go so far to call it Cruise's "Training Day" his character wasn't nearly as developed as Alonzo (Denzel) in TD. The best thing about the movie is the way it captures energy of Los Angeles very authentically.

Agreed, good film.. but don't you think the ending was too sudden??? I mean they get away and that's it! no consequence...

No I don't think he really messed up the ending,you really have to see the movie to understand what he's talking about to see what leads up to that

I saw a brief snippet of Foxx as Charles and he definitely has the mannerisms right. Can't wait to see it...
