The best book that I ever read was The Biggest Secret and the subsequent titles by David Icke. It covered the world as it really is and who is really in control and places in in concise form that is easily digested by anyone. It is documented and one could follow the documentation and find out for himself the truth.

Icke's book purportedly explains every mystery you can imagine. From Bigfoot to UFO's. From the Bible to Atlantis. From global warming to the death of the dinosaurs. Icke seems to know it all, but provides pitifully little evidence to back up any of his theories. In Icke you must trust!

His "sources" are mostly other books he has written himself, as well as testimony from those under the influence of mind-altering drugs, anonymous Internet hucksters, and the admittedly mentally ill. According to Icke "science" (he loves to put "quotes" around EVERYTHING) is meaningless, and witchcraft is the preferable method of proving theories. Whatever

My question to you is, which catagory do you fall in? Junkie or mentally ill?

David Icke has made a career out of being both a junkie and mentally ill. You gotta give him credit for that. As for the mental midgets who actually buy his scribblings - everyone needs something to believe in.

Personally, I believe Dick Cheney is the reincarnation of Mary Todd Lincoln and is actually entirely made of Bleu Cheese. Have you ever smelt the man?

I have not been close enouth to Cheney to have smelled him. Have you? If so, that would be a great story. You should identify yourself so that we can get to the bottom of it. You could be the next Monica Lewinsky or are you Eddie Murphy?

Best book I ever read? That's hard to say. Ask me again on my death bed and maybe I can answer. How about a book that took me by surprise? One that I didn't expect to like, but did. Case in point: Thomas Paine's Age Of Reason. Great book! I originally read it for my ethiopian girlfriend. She was brilliant college student, but had problems reading and writing english. So I did her work and I was glad I did.

Paine's book was a sheer joy to read. Even though my ex-girl and I are longer together, my affinity for Paine continues. The book was a polemic dedicated to promoting reason and modernism above superstition. Incidently, Paine was the first person to call the country, the United States of America and never owned a slave. He practiced what he preached. Man among pharisees....this history moment has been brought to you by..sorry, didn't mean to ramble...
