Apparently, Andre 3000 from the famed hip-hop duo Outkast is scheduled to perform at the GOP convention Aug 29. Did I miss something here? The same group who condemned the bush administration on "The Whole World" is now going to perform for the republicans on their largest stage? I hope this isn't a shallow money grab, because I cannot fathom this guy supporting that fucker. Maybe he's got a stunt up his sleeve, hopefully.

Anditsdeeptoo,
II really want to doubt that,I don't want to believe that.Maybe what he is doing ids the same thing he did at the Democartic convention for Bill Maher's show.He interviewed a couple of Democrats like Sharpton and "Osama" whatever and appeared on Bill's show to present the clip.In his interview with Bill he was staing how this is his first time voting. Please look into this and make sure this is what's going to happen at the Republican Convention.I just don't want to believe that he he is lending his support to them though!! :( 8-o

Anditsdeeptoo,
Damn I see it but I don't want to believe it....... :( I do know on a recent award show that they were making sure that people voted and Big Boi mentioned that everyone should see "Farenheit 911".......

bingolong,

I'm just crossing my fingers that he'll try to make a political statement with it. There has to be a good reason for that.

But then, I recall charles barkley's book. He's momma said, "Only rich people vote Republican." "But momma, I am rich."

jane_haze,

Yeah I remember Barkley saying that on tv too. Still, I con't help but think Andre has something up his sleeve. He'll probably try to make some sort of political statement and get tossed out on his rear. If he does, he'll have my respect. But I'd wish he just avoid the whole event altogether...
