They showed a short clip of his JKF joke. I wont be happy untill I see atleast an half an hour special on Bill. I don't get how his talent can be so greatly ignored. Boy he left us with a gold mine.

smjmcomic,
Yeah Shawn he did leave us with a huge GOLD mine!! He was one of the Greatest Social Satirist who ever hit the stage. I'm surprised CC had the BALLS to air any of his shit. He was never one to be polite or politically correct. Hicks REFUSED to sell out to corporate America and I LOVE him for it!!!
You know that's why Chris Rock completely bypassed Comedy Central and went STRAIGHT to HBO. He refused to use less profanity and be more PC just so they could $Market him to the masses and make huge ca$h off his genius. Rock will ALWAYS get my respect just for that--being SMART enough and SAVVY enough to see through Comedy Central and stay TRUE to himself!!! Much PROPS to Rock!!! If anyone has what it takes to be considered an "Apostle" of our "Comic Jesus Richard Pryor", it's him

SweetLuchia,
Its funny how censered and lame the satnd up on CC is but they let south Park (Personal fav) get away with some really funny but out there shit.
I know the reason is cuz south Park gets better ratings but maybe if the friday night stand up had more edge it would pick up ratings.

smjmcomic,
im always for more edge. i think the reason is more based on current demographics that they dont change things up.
ie: they know kids, and people with high shock value tolerance watch south park. they know older people watch stand up more. i guess you gotta cater to the paying customer. sucks though. i love standup with lots of profanity, and graphic shit. =P

Shawn & Gareth,
You both make good points about what CC allows South Park to get away with as opposed to Stand Up Comics. You're right it probably is b/c of the audience.
I wish they'd have a Stand Up show entitled "The Comedy Brass"

I think that would warn the old fuckers who get offended easily NOT to tune in
Hey you know what, I really, REALLY like that title. I think I just may go out and start my own open mic and call it "Luchia's Comedy Brass...only the blunt will do." What do you guys think? You fuckers wanna come here and do a set and help me get it off the ground?
