One of the last, if not the last phone call actor Christopher Reeve made before his death was to John Kerry. Sadly, Kerry was not around, but Reeve left a brief message to keep stem cell research at the forefront of the Presidential campaign and to continue to support it after November regardless of the outcome of the election. Soon after the phone call, the actor went to hospital, fell into a coma, and died.

I guarantee George Bush is already figuring out how to use Reeve's death to his advantage. Don't bother, Mr. President. It is well known that the Man of Steel had absolutely no use for you and would never in a million years willingly allow you to use his name or even mention it in a speech. So, before you do, fuck you, George W. Bush. Superman says "Fuck you."

Support stem cell research. Save lives. Give hope. Fuck Bush.

I don't think Bush will mention Chris. Our President has made it quite clear he has no respect for real heroes.

You speak the truth-Chris is a hero and we will miss him! He was a very special person!!! And was committed to the cause of stem-cell research, which will happen, no matter what Bush wants...and it will help people enormously. Chris's fight was brave and hard fought...he had tremendous courage and we will miss him!

I don't think Superman 3 would be on either man's list of favorite movies but that was not the fault of the actors. But we will miss you Chris. You were and still are an inspiration.
