The Progressive Party

Trudy is correct! (I despise the word "right" at this moment and will attempt to refrain from its useage.)

A couple years ago I began thinking about the "Progressive Party" or "Bull Moose Party" that Theodore Roosevelt ran for president in 1912 under, and how it could be applied today. I'm all for it. I don't have the time to get into it at the moment (I'm at work) so I'll leave the floor open...

(Feel free to elaborate Dave!)

Roosevelt lost that election, the only way a third party could help at this point is if it tooks votes away from the republicans...where the hell is Peroit when you need him?

Jennifer,

The best part of Perot's campaign was Stockdale! It was like Perot felt that a man whose marbles had been long gone was a good idea to parrot everything you say..

And Phil Hartman was excellent as him...
