Volunteers for Animal Welfare

I love this site, it's a great fit for me.
Not only am I a big admirer of Mr. Pryor, but also an animal welfare advocate. I'm very heartened to see all the links to animal welfare sites.
One weekend a month, my wife and I transport dogs and cats from the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter to a local Petsmart adoption outreach center and help facilitate the adoption process.
If you're in the Oklahoma City area and want to help out a homeless pet, come and see me. I'll hook you up with a pet who will likely become your friend for life.
The attached pic is me and my friend Elke, who I rescued from a "no kill " shelter. She is one of three dogs and two cats who sponge off my ass, but also make me very happy.
