I rarely, rarely ever have time to watch TV anymore so I had no idea it was on and I'm kind of BUMMED that I missed it

However I'm happy that you let us know about it because since I live in NYC I have the fortunate chance of actually seeing Dave Chappelle in person and now that I know this, if that ever happens, it'll make it all the more special

I saw this too, and I thought his response was great. DC obviously knows the gravity of a phrase like that. As he said, it definitely is worth more and puts more pressure on him than the millions and millions Comedy Central gives him to be funny.

This interview originally aired earlier in 2004. But I was fortunate enough to catch it this time and I was elated to do so. Chappelle is tops in my book. Not only is he a great comedian, but he doesn't suffer from delusions of grandeur. He knows Pryor was the best and never hestitates to say so in public. Did you see his reaction? The man almost broke into tears when they mentioned Pryor's passing the torch. Chappelle is no poser. This guy is a true comedian and a good one at that. I also loved his comments on the I AIN'T DEAD YET DVD. Buy it, if you haven't already....Happy New Year Richard and Jennifer!!!

Yeah true that!!How even he descibed how Martin Lawrence had him studying performances was really tight!!!

Still doesn't make up the fact that I missed the whole 60 minutes thing tough.......

Speaking of Chappelle, any word on when his new season is starting? I know there's a delay. And when does his dvd of his special come out?

I think the report said as late as May for the new season and I can't find any release dates on the DVD http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0425598/ - but it is being compared to WATTSTAX!!!'
