Murphdogg,
Okay, will do.
On a side note, I don't have enough experience to give good advice that works. I only have advice that I haven't proven in anyway...

man this last sunday's show was crazy..had everything from emt's having to be called for some guy to one of the bikini contestants tops falling off..it was such a wild, strange show if a albino midget would of rode into the bar on a three testicled unicorn I don't think it would of suprised me by the end of the night

Murphdogg,
Honestly I don't think reading a book or taking a class can make you a better comedian. I think the best thing you can do is Get On Stage as OFTEN as possible!
If you don't have many stages where you live, make one. You don't have to have a lot of stage time and/or experience to do it either. I was only on stage twice before I found a theater in Pittsburgh and talked the owner into letting me have one

but I'm also fairly street smart and know how to hustle when necessary
Whatever you do...Good Luck!

SweetLuchia, thanks..that's what I did with the sunday night show, just kind of hard juggling promoting and doing stand up this early on
