Richard voted into UK's top 10 comedian's comedians

Here in England our comedians have just voted Richard into their top 10 favourite EVER comedians...quite right!
Having read through the posting in this site, there are a lot of nice things said about Richard & I'm not eloquent enough to add much other than: Richard, you have brightened up my life & made me piss my pants laughing! Thank you, you funny motherfucker!

I didn't even Know Richard was Brittish... Black people with british accents crack me up. The only thing funnier is a black guy wearing a cowboy hat...

I don't get either comment. There were Black folks with British accents before there was a single white man in America. And the cowboy hat thing - I'm not sure I get that one at all. I'm not offended in the least - I realize you are just trying to be funny, but I just don't get what the jokes are - maybe it's a DC thing? I realize DC is a completely different reality than the rest of the world. Please explain. Thanks.
