Inspiration

My dad first showed me Richard pryor when I was about 12. It was the gig in Long Beach in 1979 which he had recorded off the TV. It was one of the most defining moments of my life. I watched that tape(which I still have) over and over again and never stopped laughing at it. I now own loads of Richards DVDs and consider him the funniest man to ever set foot on a stage and he still influences my life and sense of humour greatly. Its not just the comedy that appeals to me but also the strength to keep going when things go bad that he has shown throughout his life.
