The club I was going to run this, and the club I run my sundays show was shut down this week, I'm still working on a back up venue to run the bennefit show, Not sure if I'll try and open up a regular room again, I want to cocentrate on just being a comic for awhile without having to worry about putting people into seats every week.

Murphdogg,
I just played with a guy who says he's from/plays rooms down in you neck of the woods. You know a guy named Key Lewis?
He was a pretty nice guy off stage, and a pretty decent comic on stage.

jane_haze, yeah I know Key, talk about a small world, I met Key through my cousin who is homies with him, we used to go see him do stand up when he was first starting out, it was through him I learned about a comedy class taught by Del Van Dyke and started doing comedy myself. Key is one of the best comics coming out of sac, he's sure as hoot hollerin hell better then me, and hes cool as hell. He's been doing it a couple of years, and him, my homie tom mclain and a few other sac comics that are a couple of years ahead of me, are all ready to blow up I think. I'll have to ask him about you..did he talk with the mic on his neck again?

Murphdogg,
I don't believe he did, because the mic broke right before *I* went up and he was on right after me.
That's awesome that you know that guy. He seemed to be a a lot better than just a normal open miker and knew about politics involved a little better than most.
So yeah. Rock!
