I just got one of my all times favourit movies by Mel Brooks " Blazing Saddles " and listend to the comentery from Mel. He was talking about your work on the film. I was just wondering how long it took you to wright that carrecter " Mongo " and if you did any other carrecter work on that film.

Mongo is a strange carecter in a strange and wonderful movie.

Rich meeds to get with Mel and write Blazing Saddles, Return to Rockridge. With all the other BS movies, it would be a box office winner.

Carolina Rider,

The problem is that half the cast is dead. And a 65 year old Mongo that looks like Webster's dad wouldn't strike fear into anybody.

Please don't tell me you're going to now go into who should play who...

Actually, I'd like to see Blazing Saddles: On Broadway!

To me the manic ending would be interesting in a theater, with horses in the aisles, etc.
