The family's dog was bought for a guard
Chained to a post in a chilly backyard
Housed in a shed that was airless and dark
And every few weeks had a run in the park.

When boredom set in with no fun and no work
One day it broke loose and went quietly beserk
Pa couldn't fathom just why it went wild
As it flattened his wife and then bit his child

The police were called in to sort out the mess
And the whole sorry tale was revealed to the press
The Rescue Society was really annoyed
SO THE DOG WAS REHOMED AND THE OWNERS DESTROYED.

I adore this poem because this is what happened to Peirce/Pryor-only the family got away!

Hmmm ... I could run interference. Track them down and do a little payback. You could be the brains and I could be the ... well, not muscle exactly, but manppower! Yea, I could be the manpower bringing some sort of justice to the scene - anonymously of course. I'm ready when you are!

I just don't understand how someone can just leave a dog behind. It's not like they LET you leave in peace, so there is no way to simply forget them. Some people just have no heart.

Bobo looks like a cat burglar - or dog burglar - with that black mask. So cute! And the kidd is a cute one too. I'll try to post my girls but I'm technologically challenged.
