Jennifer,
its very sad whats going on imy my beloved country, but the thing that gets me is how people now have turned their backs on zimbabwe, the people there are still the same, i cant say i hate mugabe because he has done alot to up lift the black people in zimbabwe,
the way i see it is that its propaganda, and the media does its share in making mugabe seem like a devil, but in africa he is stil loved.
i guess we will just have to see how long this will last and pray things get better soon.
but dont throw that picture of mugabe away, at least replace it with the zimbabwean flag.
politics is a mother fucker!

watisthis,
i COULDN'T DISAGRE WITH YOU more...
Mugabe was a classic case of -'he became the beast he was fighting'---he became the same racist, monstrous fuck...throwing people off their land, his actions have sent the country into an economic crisis never before seen (condition of the country is beyond crisis)...and is getting worse...he is insane and I am sorry for the people of Zimbabwe that the end of apartheid netted this lunatic as a leader...hopefully, things will change...

Jennifer,
like i said politics is a motha fucker, the land was supposed to be taken, but blair acted like a bitch by refusing to companset the white farmers like they had agreed, and then turned the whole western world against mugabe. the situation cant get any worse at least, i hope.mugabe also doesnt make life easier for himself making some dumbass decisions, but thats the mind of an old man.
when elephants fight its the grass that auffers.

Jennifer,
African politics is a lot more complex then how it is presented. Mugabe ain't no saint, but nobody gave a damn about what he was doing to his people until he started throwing the white farmers out. And the only reason why they cared about that is because it affects the tobacco farms (many of which are British owned anyway, which is why the farmers are looking to Tony Blair for compensation). The same thing with Idi Amin, he was trained in England to kill Africans and nobody gave a damn. But when years later he started killing whites and gave solace to the Palestinian terrorists in Entebbe, all of a sudden he becomes a Monster.
Today, everybody is talking about "Aid for Africa" and "Debt relief" these are temporary solutions at best. But very few people like to talk abot the unfair trade agreements that operate between Africa and the Western Countries that keep it in an abject state of poverty. Think about it, we all consune, tobacco, chocolate, coffee, sugar, the list is endless, yet the countries that produce these materials are broke while the countries that refine and package these materials are rich. You can't say that the dictators are taking ALL of the money, because we are talking about Billions of Billions here (and Mugabe ain't THAT rich!). Basically, Western democracies love dictators (they always have done) who suppress their own people, abide by the unjust trade laws and stay in line. They only kick up a fuss when "PR disasters happen" which involve Westerners occur.
Notice how not much is being said about China's invasion of Tibet or the massacres in Darfur or the war in the Congo which has claimed over 3 million lives. Will we have to wait until Hollywood make another "Hotel Rwanda" style movie until the world actually realise the mess that is occuring in some African countries?
And when I say "Western" I'm fully aware of Britain's role in all of this (both historically and to this day). The Queen's crown is soaked in the blood of many as is Mugabe's President Bush's offices.
Peace gee

Mister Gee,
Economy affects everyone...black and white...he has ruined the economy of the country...it's in crisis!!!
He also completed a raizing of a poor community(ALL black people) last Thursday and displaced over 10,000 of his own! Leveling their homes, flea markets, their lives...
Why? Because they are against Mugabe...
It is more complex...racism in any form is complex...and deadly and destructive...he has ruined his nation...
![Flaming Mad ]:o(](./images/smilies/flaming_mad.gif)
TO place blame where it deserves to be is not to ignore all the other blame---there is enough to go around...white people are historically, horrendously guilty!
But Mugabe has become the same horrible beast he was fighting(the white one!!!)...that was and remains my point!!!

He didn't change shit...very sad very true very real!
