Quentin Tarantino is reportedly going to bring back Eddie Murphy for this movie. Will anyone care to see the ressurrection of Axel Foley?

yeah if he can pull his head back outta his arse after daddy day care and get back to the bad ass Murphy we all know and love. I hope tarantino can spark life into the old beverly cop franchise, we need to get judge rhinehold (sp?) back in there too.

Wow. Just wow. I would love that. Just erase Cop 3 from existence and bring back his angry boss.

Just another sign Murphy seems to be afraid to take a risk.
Shrek, Dr. Dolittle, The Nutty Professor, Daddy Day Care... all appeal to same audience. Safe for families, but with lines that adults get. The Nutty Prof. hit and it's like I'm going to stay here for a while.
Makes sense if he does break away from those films, it would be for his most successful franchise.

This just goes to show how calculated things are in Hollywood with certain high ranking people. Didn't this same shit happen with John Travolta? It's almost like when certain celebs of their caliber get TOO high, which was the case with both Travolta & Murphy, their told to "take a shower", meaning "Ok, you've hit the ceiling in terms of popularity and power, now we need you to chill for the next ten years and then we'll ressurect you again and you'll be even more valuable to us!" We should've seen the signs of Murphy's "break" in Cop 3 when his ass strolled into that damn amusement park. How the hell does Axel Foley end up at an amusement park? He even runs into George Lucas making a cameo, which is even more bizzare in itself. Come on, people. Do the math!
First, we hear rumors about him returning to stand-up.
Now, he may be working with Tarantino?
