From a stripper in Texas

Dear Mr Richard-I had the pleasure of meeting you at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles about 1995 ( I forget the exact date)when you were signing your autobiography. I thought you were so nice to your fans at this event, so nice to the public who came to see you. It was appreciated. I am a stripper . i read where you were a janitor in a strip club in your lean days. I admire you so much especially because you came from such humble beginnings and kicked the worlds butt and made such an forgettable success out of yourself. When I work at my strip clubs and dance I will think of you. I am a caucasian lady. Though some have found your humor offensive, i have always found it truthful, sincere, and just plain old funny as hell. You are an unbeliievable talent. I used to want to run off with you when Id watch you on Saturday Night Live and your stand up shows. However, Jennifer has done that and i admire her also. Seems like she has been through alot and really stuck by your side. My regret is that when i saw you at the Comedy Store i didnt get a picture taken with you. I wish one day I could. i hope you will get some more autographed photos for sale soon, i would love one. May God always bless you and yours, and see you through in your fight with MS. Lots of love from a great fan.-Virginia Pritchett, Mineral Wells, Texas
