Thanks. But I've had 2 lousy gigs in a row. Nothing was wrong with the audience. It's me! My ego hurts to admit it, but my material is lame, my delivery off and my stage presence non-existent! I have no identity onstage anymore. It's like my jokes are all generic lately. And yet people are still asking me to do this sh*t! What I want to know is why dont' I just quit? My last really good gig wasn't even planned. Some heckler just went off on me and I reciprocated. The audience loved it. But I'm not going to pay that guy to show up...I'm not Martin and Lewis....arrrghh...I'll check back later. Thanks again. Jane..that's a sexy picture...hey I'm depressed, not dead!

mojones, we are own worse critics..Hell just watch premium blend....alot of funny comics get on that..and alot of ones I know would bomb in rooms I do

I havent proformed since I lost my grandfather and my Mind but I'm ready to come back I feel great I'm working on a new set I'm almost ready to get back this time I wanna do things right I fell into toomany bad habits I had to walk away and look at from the outside in study the art and remember why I do this (For the laughs)
Too be honest I havent had a decent gig in over a year I forgot what it feels like to have a good solid set.
But I will get it back and it will be better than ever .
What made you give comedy a try in the first place?
You gotta stay driven you have too weather the bad times or it will all cave in on ya.

mojones, Hey lighten up. They're still calling aren't they? Keep working. Approach it from different angles. Do exercises like reading the paper and writting monologue type jokes. Give yourself a crab meat enema. Work man work!
