I just had a thought...

If you rubbed a lamp and got 3 wishes, and one of your wishes was for everyone to show everyone else the amount of respect that they deserve, how would the world change?

One thing I thought of right away is that a large number of rappers would suddenly fall off the charts.

JTF, well being that some people deserve no respect but get it just cause they own companies or people are scaired of them..so if that wish came true alot of people would get fired or get their ass kicked..which would lead to REVALUTION

Your thought is a brilliant one but not a likely one. Therefore, I will not comment on the hypothetical.

On what is REAL: In some cases, I believe in turning the other cheek. Advantages: No heated word exchanges, blood pressure stays low, everyone body goes home - alive.

However, in some cases, I do believe in an eye for an eye. Advantages: You get the point across, you get to exact retribution, someone gets DEALT with. The matter is set right.

Disadvantages: Your blood pressure increases, you say things that you might regret, Somebody might get injured or worse.

In the 2005, I feel that it is necessary to have RESPECT rather than to have FEAR. If a person respects you, they are more apt to be DOWN with you - loyal. If a person FEARS you, disguising it as respect, well, that very same person may very well be plotting to kill you or do you harm.

But you can not GET ANY RESPECT if you do not give it first.
If you give it and don't get it back - the BITCH SLAP THAT TRICK - verbally or physically - which ever applies. Let there be no mistake, I am a bit rowdy, rowdy & it comes across in my viewpoints.

Therefore, I conclude that:

We can in fact CHANGE the world today, one by one - FOR REAL - without the magic lamp, but that is a cool thing though.

HOW: By properly and usefully applying when to turn the other cheek and when to take and eye for an eye.

I desire to take it a step further - but ***WARNING*** - this step is against the law:
Those who can not comply on the respect note are to be BANISHED FROM POLITE SOCIETY.

We have NO LOVE for a disrespectful trick. Away with you!
