It's my opinion that the more people in a child's life, the more choices s/he will have as an adult. By choices I mean of ways to handle life. Specifically loving and caring adults first and foremost but then as many 'role models' as possible.
Most of us are [/i]lucky[/i] if we get 2 measley adults to look up to and mimic.
Richard used his experiences growing up in his grandmother's brothel for a lot more than comedy.
Would that we all had that many adults around us so often and so consistantly when we were growing up.
He has inspired me more than any other performer (and most people in general.)
