this ain't a poem, just words from the heart.

so blue, so blue
yes it's true
how about you
what will you do

so tired and uninspired
if I speak, will it be a leak
if I'm quiet, will it stop a riot

if I hope, will it help others cope
if I forget, will I quit

quit thinking about those who came before
who bore and bore and bore
until they were sore and couldn't take no more

what gave them their strength
that seemed to never have a length
what made that spark in their eyes
to always keep their eyes on the prize

do they know I think about them
do they care that I think about them
do they know I'll always admire and love them

what do they think about us
will they scream, shout or cuss

are we doing enough
are we just giving enough
when will it be enough

especially when times are so rough

(that's all folks, just pecking keys to the sounds of my thoughts)

thank ya, thank ya it's weird because I was just pecking around on keyboard watching another sad disaster story, and started feeling so sad, then started typing so blue, so blue and the rest just came from the heart at that time.

I never started reading poetry or art until a few years ago. I was strictly a math geek. it had to be logical and have a definite conclusion, otherwise F it, ain't got time!

like philosophy. could not get into that "what if" stuff, look it either is or isn't, ain't no in between. BEST and only "F" I ever earned, or more like paid for since it was in college I'd show up and lay down in the court yard during their discussions.
