Any Seattle people plan on going to the Dave Chappelle "Block Party Tour" this Sunday????

cool, what did my man Dave have to say about King Richard? I doubt we gonn see this episode in the UK. Takes ages for them to show it over here.

It was cool what he said about Richard.
I loved the standing ovation when he told the truth about Hollywood.He said to the students:
"When corporate meets the arts all y'all hearts will be broken".
I didn't know about his mom in Congo during the 60's.
Was great TV.They should have more of that.

Yeah, I'll try to catch it. When does it come on? It's a cable show, right? If so, they probably show the same segment a billion times a week. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch it soon.

I didn't know about it until about 11 am the day the tickets went on sale. The tickets sold out within something like 20 minutes!!!!
There was *no* chance that I could have gotten one even before noon!!!!
I felt so let down... I mean, I'm a lover and fan of comedy, his stand up, and everything... don't I get *special* consideration?!

It's so true! Rich defined stand up as what we know it today! And countless times, you see people up on stage and all you can think,"He knows that he's not Richard Pryor, right?"
I mean, some of these guys who try to do stories... give me a break. Rich had insight into the human condition with his stories of his life... these jokes just have bad uninteresting stories with shitty, dick-joke punches!
There will never be another like our brother shining down on us. Ever.
