Anatomy of a Great Stand Up

I'm just curious. I know comedy is an artform and like any artforms, it's subjective. But what do you all feel makes a great stand up comedian? Is it just the technical stuff like call-backs and running gags? Or does it encompass more than that? Does personality factor in anywhere? How important it voice....and what is voice btw? Enlighten me, people.
