My thoughts

I always enjoyed Richard's sense of humor... but I also liked his politics. He always seemed to tell it the way it was, without always being politically correct. This sounds funny but Richard Pryor taught me at an early age that people are just people... white, black, latino, or whatever, and that we can all laugh at ourselves and each other without being mean spirited or hateful. Just a thought at 2am on a Tuesday.

Visitor,

Richard Pryor was also way ahead of his time on certain issues. Take the "N" word. He denounced it years ago and now his buddy Mooney has said he will quit using it in performances.

Richard Pryor was and still is a genius and if everyone would pay attention to what he said and what he didn't say, this world would be a better place to live in.
