Anyone ever seen someone on stage and you couldn't believ it?

I did in Mauii. This guy was talented, cool, funny and you name it. Old folks loved him, young folks, locals, you name it loved this guy. You could tell the guys playing with him loved him. My question is...was this a guy trying to figure out what it takes to get people to love him and just hanging with it?...

No he was just someone good enough to make a living hanging in Mauii and good enough to impress people.Who knows the difference. RP Boardies rock..
