I think Richard Pryor deserves the same kind of dedication to his character as Jamie Foxx gave when he portrayed Ray Charles. Agree? Would Steve Harvey or Will Smith fit this bill? Steve Harvey has some of the physical characteristics that Pryor had, and Will Smith would proabably have the professionalism to pull it off. What does the forum think?

Oh well....thought I'd get some "real" opinions but you guys just seem to make snide remarks to most the post by newbees. Just hope oneday they make a great movie and the character that plays Mr Pryor be the perfect person. Glad this tamara person has been chosen! Good Luck

but in all seriousness, GIVEN Richard IS A LEGEND, Jennifer is not gonna let some boo-boo play The Man. Richard Pryor made jokes, he was not a joke, so don't believe some or any clown will just play him. TRUST that it will be someone worthy.
