Cold and lonely
My bones they feel...
I tap on the lid
Of this old coffin made of steel.

Doesn't anybody hear me?
I tap, tap away...
I'd yell to you for help
But would it matter anyway?

Some things in life
That I never got to do
But if I say them here right now
Could they all come true?

I want to get really drunk and pee
On the Alamo in Texas
I want to drive a truck into the side of
My old neighbor's Lexus.

I want to light a fart
Just to see if I can
I tried it once with hairspray
But it blew up in my hand.

I want to watch that one re-run
Of Gilligan's Island
So that I can laugh my ass off
when Bob Denver gets struck by lightning.

I want to wear an eyepatch and
say "Arrr" to my parrot
While he perches on my shoulder
As I steer my pirate ship "The Ferret".

I'd want to pick a booger
If I only had a nose
The simple things in life
That you'll miss when you're toast.

But I know this is all a pipe-dream
So I'll lay here dreaming
Of the day I can break out of
This coffin in which I'm sleeping.

Go ahead with your badself little thembones!!
But you are where you are, that's where you call home.
I feel your pain and your shame and your wish to escape
but your dead and then some,all the worms have been fed-
so try to find peace in that coffin you lease
until the time it turns into dust.

This coffin is heavy
This dirt is too
Bury me deep
I'm dead and I'm blue

If the world above me
Starts to consume
Those I've left behind
Then I'll just spin in my grave
And hum a sad tune

With no real way out
What can I do
This world is much bigger
Than just me or you
