Not Funny(A funny song)

So, I'm in this band. We just got a name--Brutal Knights. It's sort of punk rock n roll. I write these sort of vague lyrics that are in my vein of humour...um, this one's called Not Funny and it asks the question 'what is funny?' It's short.
verse 1
War is not so funny
but pratfalls are hilarious
pratfalls that take place in war
fall into gray areas
Chorus:
Please define 'not funny'
is it gonnorhea?
tell me what's unfunny
is it opression in Korea?
somebody tell me...I don't know
verse 2
Practical jokes are OK
I like it when they make a point
intentionally unfunny is passable
but only if you smoked a joint
chorus, repeat verse 1
Hope I'm not wasting your time with gibberishy lyrics!

Sound like it should be a ballad with a synth used for strings and maybe use a waltz tempo?
But what do I know?

That could work! However, we are gonna play it in more the style of bands like the Ramones and The Dwarves--short, to the point, and filled with mad fresh crazy guitar riffs. Still, a waltz tempo would be classy.Perhaps a remix is in order.

Thanks for asking
See, thing is I'm not really a musician. I'm what is known in music circles as 'a lead singer'; I don't know how to read music or play any instruments. I just sing/yell in a punky voice--my favourite rock bands are stuff like The Ramones, The Stooges(Iggy Pop's old band), MC5 and some 70s/80s LA punk. I guess we're going to sound somewhere along those lines, but until we play a show, it'll be hard to really know what we're gonna be like. Someday we'll hit Cali! Some of my best friends are down there and also in bands, and I really want us to do a little tour together someday. What kind of song does it seem like just reading the lyrics?

Anytime you can get gonnorhea in a song, its a fucking classic. Ask Clive Davis, LA Reid, Barry Gordy, all made their fortunes off of gonnorhea.
