I think every voting booth should have a computer keyboard installed. Not only should you have to select your candidate, but you should have to type a short paragraph giving one specific reason as to why you are voting for your candidate. All submissions would be graded by independent teams of History, English and PoliSci college professors and, if your paragraph was not deemed to give a specific enough fact-based rationale, your vote would be discarded. And you'd have to wear a government-approved dunce cap until the day after Thanksgiving. Or one of those beanies with the propellers. That would be decided on a case by case basis.
