When I left the board in May, I was in a huge amount of pain. I had just lost my father less than 6 weeks before. We were always at odds with eachother and we never made the connection I so desperately hoped we would and I had a lot of anger inside me because of that. I've since worked through a lot of that anger and am now in a different stage of the mourning process.

I'm now able to work full-time again, I got back up on stage and started to perform Stand Up again and have gotten VERY involved in keeping Bill Hicks' legacy alive and raising money for his Wildlife Foundation so my days are packed full but I'll stop by when time permits. I love Jenny Lee for bringing this board to us and giving us away to reach out and communicate with Mr. Pryor, he inspires us, comedians, more than ANYONE else who's ever taken the stage:)

The crowd wasn't as big as I would've liked but there's a VERY strong chance that, Jamie Masada, owner of The Laugh Factory, and the BHFW, will allow me to do this again on the 11th Anniversary of Bill death ):)

And now that Jamie knows I'm not some "fly by night" producer, he's much more likely to chip in for promotional costs which plays a HUGE role in the success of a show. SO I really think we'll get an even bigger turn out in Feb. :)

I'd like to do a show on Bill's Birthday instead of on the day that he passed but his birthday is in December and it's very, VERY hard to get an audience in Dec. because of all of the holidays going on that month and the amount of money people spend on gifts, they just don't have the time or the cash to spend on entertainment but Feb. is a perfect time. By then, the holidays have long passed, everyone is all caught up on their holiday spending and back to their normal schedules so they'll be looking for an entertaining event to attend and [/i]In The Spirit of Bill [/i] will be perfect :)

[Font size=4 face=t color=blue]You and Mr. Pryor certainly inspired me to get involved in animal rights. It felt great to win the auction on E-Bay but to be the one who actually made the event is just AMAZING!!![/font]

[Font size=4 face=t color=blue]What touched me even more were the people who came up to me after the show and said, "Thank You for producing this. I didn't know who Bill Hicks was when I walked in here but I think you've made a fan out of me." Fucking AWESOME!!![/font]
