I don't know where to start.

I have some friends... siblings.. one I met and was friends with since high school, the others I met through him. He was in the service, worked in computers in San Diego and then took a job in private industry in L.A. Travel back and forth, phone calls all the time, and then he started doing things like covering shit in foil to keep people from spying on him.

The whole family is really worried... We know he has had some legal trouble, have had to bail him out and all... couldn't reach him to tell him his mom died, and trying to get information from anyone in the police department out there is difficult. None of us can afford to come out there and search for him right now, and I tried contacting the Salvation Army... someone said they helped find relatives but I have had no reply at all from them...

We figure (actually we hope) he's either living on the street or in jail... His brother and I were talking yesterday and he's really upset because he doesn't know if his little bro is alive or dead...

Can anyone tell me some agency, or I don't know, some way of getting some information? Hiring a PI isn't really an option at this point either...
