Good thing about comedy is, it's the only part of the entertainment biz that is not run by 20 year old kids. Dave Chappelle is 31 and that's considered to be young in comedy for the power and stage presence he has.
Robert Schimmel didn't walk onto a stage until his late 30's and he's bordering on "legend" status.
You should drive him to the open mic and push him to do it.

Hey thanks to you and all those people who replied to me concerning what I thought was a serious subject. Since I don,t want to be a dream stealer, I will give all of your responses serious thought. I really like this guy and want the best for him. Once again....thanks everybody.
