tamra,

Thats kinda the same as the guy when we was fishin, it was along the bay in a big flat open area, I slowly drove right past the guy and since I thought maybe he was stuck or needed help I started slowing down when I got near him but then kev started assaulting me, he's from Wales and thinks we're all ignorant over here and I guess he takes this stuff seriously, I said I wanted to see what it was and he said something about "you know damn well what it is" and the look on his face was so serious I got to laughing so as I drove by I looked over my shoulder and he should have been near the back side of the truck but he was gone....now this really sounds stupid but the first thing I thought of was scooby doo because he was dressed like an old sea dude, (I knew better than to say man ;p ) hat, coat, boots and lantern, the light looked funny too, but theres so many different kinds these days...I know two hurricanes went through there in the early 1900s and theres a common grave for a whole bunch of people somewhere near there and they said many of the local fisherman had to leave to save their boats and when they came back their families were gone and they never found many of them or they had already been buried...like smjmcomic said about energy I wonder if it was something like that...I did say a quick prayer for the guy between arguing with shit head.

smjmcomic,
I don't believe in ghosts. but I do believe in Ghost Busters. I have stock in this company. please call them if you ever see any again, or have the people who saw these ghosts calls Ghost Busters.

(cha-ching, cha-ching)

that was a pretty good video from JKCinema by the way.

I don't know if this means anything, but I often have dreams of people I've never seen before, w/details of homes, right down to wall paper, street addresses, but couldn't tell you what city, and conversations and messages from people. I usually just wake up like "hey if ya couldn't tell me while I was up, must not be important"

but someone told me a long time ago those are people from past lives or angels with messages.

I also don't believe in psychics (because truly they could hit the lottery and see when a mofo is coming to bug them for money!), but once in New Orleans I had a lady approach me in Jackson Brewery mall after zeroing in on me from the bottom of the escalator. I was surrounded by 3 people, but her eyes were piercing and fixed on me.

when I got to the bottom, she asked if she could do a reading for me. first question: HOW MUCH?! while rolling eyes. she said whatever you'd like to offer.

I was in a good mood and figured what the hell, this will be money that'll never leave my pocket or I'll give her change. she proceeded to tell me specific things that no one but myself could have known except me. then she asked me if I wanted to know my future, I was so pissed yet overwhelmed, I said "no" quickly and just gave her all I literally had in my pockets w/out counting it (it was Xmas shopping time)

but here's where it gets weird. she was standing face to face w/me, had no smell, was very clean, was wearing flip flops and a thin blue dress, but again, it was Xmas time. and there was a peaceful presence about her. then she walked off towards the side of the escalator. I looked back and she was gone and there was no exit that way. just a brick wall. everyone else just stood shocked faced and no one said nothing for a while. and we were up most of night trying to figure it out and talking about it. I still remember her face and dress to this day.

tis2flyyy,

I never really thought of the Gma thing as a ghost story though...dream, coincidence or whatever the love was real I know that....If you ever heard of that BTK ass in Wichita Ks the news guy he was talking to, Larry Hattaberg, interviewed gma when she was in her 80s and still working at a nursery/farm with her little sister aunt ginny, I got it on tape maybe someday I can show you. ):)

tis2flyyy,

Theres a lot of love in that, it's amazing how things happen that show us the power of that love...my dad decided he didn't need a adopted kid since he had a "real family" after his mom died he booted us out in the street, we was living pretty rough for awhile and I was pretty pissed but after a couple months I started thinking maybe I'd get in contact with the bastard and try to patch things up...then grandma who had been dead 5 years or so showed up one night, I knew I was asleep and dreaming but it was so real...we joked and argued just like always and I remember thinking how strange/real it felt, she even had scalloped potatoes and chops which is my wifes favorite of her cooking and I was teasing her saying I was pissed cuz I wanted chicken and dumplings, then she said she had to go and I told her I suppose I needed to go up to dads and try to work things out but she said "don't worry about it, I'll see him in a couple days and straighten this out" then the weirdest thing she walked over by her bed and got in a wood box and then I woke up. I was so happy, felt just like I had really spent some time with her and buzz kill even said she was dreaming about gma but couldn't remember nothing about it...I'm sure you've guessed it, dad died two days later...Buzz got the call and was freaking out because of what seemed like a prediction...I was so happy after that just thinking how much she must have really loved me...It really gave me a whole new perspective on things.

Hell yeah, I believe in ghosts...

check it.

We were down south, at a family reunion. My aunt Brenda says that she went for a drive in town to pick up a few things.

On her way back, she saw her sista, Etta Mae, walking back down the dirt road, towards her house carrying two bags of groceries. Etta Mae is everybody's favorite because she is the sweetest person on the face of this earth and an awesome cook. Etta Mae was making the sweet potatoe pies and banana pudding for the family reunion.

So naturally, Brenda stopped and offered Etta Mae a ride for the rest of the way back to her house.

Brenda dropped her sister off, helped her with the groceries and even helped her set up all the bowls she needed to begin her preparations for the dessert making. Brenda and Etta Mae chatted for a little while about this and that then Brenda gave her a hug, said "I love you" and continued on her way to her own home.

When she got home, a bunch of us were standing there, in her living room - stressed out, some crying and things. So Brenda said, "what's wrong with everybody"?

& My mother turned to her sister Brenda and said, "Oh my God, we found out while you were out. Ettas Mae is dead. They found her in her bed this morning. Apparently she did in her sleep last night. We do not know what happened - she wasn't sick or anything was she?"

Brenda looked at my Mother, then at the rest of us, then fainted.

It would be much later that we all found out that she didn't just faint because she heard her sister was dead, but because she had just actually SEEN her sister and given her a ride home - even though she was supposed to be long past dead at that time.

The other part is that when they went to her house later on in the evening, to feed her dogs and to get some clothes to bury her in, lined on the shelfs were freshly baked sweet potaoe pies and three pans of banana pudding.

My aunt swears that they were not there when she was there earlier that day. My aunt Etta lives alone, except for her dogs. So how did the desserts get made?

When Brenda told everyone that she had in fact seen her sister and had given Etta Mae a ride home that day - everyone was speechless. & we believe her as Brenda won't even jay walk, she is the most upright person you will ever meet.

Even the man at the grocery store remembers my aunt Etta came in a bought her goroceries earlier that day.

So she was there!!! But was supposed to be dead.

& this just happen in 2003!!!!!

We now say in the family that Etta felt so bad about leaving here without having the opportunity to make desserts for that year's famiy reunion, that she came back from the dead and made them desserts just for us, so she could rest in peace.

We ate those desserts too. We had a funeral/ family reunion that year.

Explain that.

Visitor,

our neighbors dog got a chicken bone stuck in it's ass and scrunched around the yard looking like your friend for three days. I bet pats more of an inie than an outie though.

"well I couldn't see no advantage in going where she was going, so I made up my mind I wouldn't try for it"
