It is ALL love up in here, because of the love we ALL share for Richard and Jennifer.

I have to say something----to get it off of my chest, so to speak. Recently, I had a "riff" with one of the post members on this site. I am not proud to report this. After I sort of "went off" I felt very bad. Very bad indeed. Why? First, welllllll, the member really did not deserve that, and two, in me trying to prove my point, I sort of felt like I was disrespecting the reason why I came onto this site and that was so I could be a part of Richard Pryor's world in some kind of way, because I really, really have major love for him. Been a fan since as far back as I can remember.

What I am trying to say is, I had to re-focus and totally recall what actually brought me to this site.

On the real, there is really NO SITE like this on the www. & it is the connecting we have to the Pryors as well as the comradery shared amongst the post members. There are all all kinds of different people on here from ALL over the world. & I have come in contact with some very cool people here, very cool. Really awesome, is all that I have to say.


By the way, I know I have piqued your curiosity on who this post member is that I had a "riff" with. Out of respect for that person, they shall remain nameless. But the whole incident really taught me a lot, a whole lot.

So, I had my own personal JOY from being a member here and some pain from being a member here, as well.

Your reply is true though! Joy and Pian IS like sunshine and rain.

JOY - It is like sunshine - because we got to spend time with our dear Richard through this site. JTF, especially you as you are one of the original members and have remained steadfast and true. How many people can actually say thatthey had that contact? I am proud to say that I did, even if it was a short time for me, as I joined in late 3rd Qtr last year.

Pain is like rain because I know each one of us, are in pain saying if only we could have had the opportunity to meet Richard in person, we would have been able to really express the love that we have for him. & I know we would have done anything that we could to support Jennifer.

It also is painful to type this reply with out thinking about Jennifer and how she must be feeling. She said Richard is her soul mate. So, I am right back feeling joy, because a love like that NEVER dies.

Visitor, you are too correct. Jennifer is truly an ANGEL & here at this site, we all truly love Richard Pryor & his dear wife, Jennifer.

So, JTF - keep on with the hook lines of that song and while you at it, dedicate it to Jenn & TMIC, always.

wow that was very nice.

I just found this site and could not leve without posting something about an amazing man. Jennifer, you are an angel..thank you for your journey with Richard. I remeber listening to Richard's albums as a kid at my dad's house parties. I didn't always understand, but laughed. I remeber going to see "Jo Jo Dancer your life is calling"...how much that movie touched me. Little did I know that it would serve a part of my life I had yet to see. I'm in recovery now(been sober for about seven years), yet Richard's comedy is so crucial to my looking at laugh with love through the pain. I knew him somehow, he knew me. Thank you for the laughs Richard, thank you for honesty, thank you for living life to the fullest, and thank you for touching me.
