JTF, if someone is under chronic pain they can't deal with and can't seemed to be solved, then I understand it. As for emotional pain..you got to ride the storm out. There are times when the only thing that get's me through is spite against fate, a kind of grim "I ain't gonna let the gods make me quit, I'm going to get through this shit and enjoy life anyways" kind of attitude..and bd, there are too many bastards that are alive and kicking for us to lose one of the good guys.

Man, suicide is the most selfish thing anyone can do. All it does is end any chance of happiness you might encounter and fuck everybody who knows you up. Basically those who kill themselves are saying "I don't care if you walk around the rest of your life with the guilt of my death hanging over your head."
